Frequently Asked Questions

Who actually owns the property itself?

All share owners have control over the property. Title of the property will be shared among the other owners of the cottage.

How many weeks
do I get?

Each owner will be allocated five weeks per year.

Is smoking allowed in the cottages?

No. Smoking is
only allowed outside.

How long do I have ownership for?

It is yours for life. You can pass it on to your children or relative or even sell it if you'd like.

How are the
weeks decided?

When each owner commits to purchase they pick a specific cabin and fixed summer week they would like.  The remaining four weeks are allocated throughout the year with one in Fall, Winter, Spring and a floating week.  Each year a request sheet will be sent to all owners and they will be asked to choose their preferred week for each of the optional weeks.  The owners will rotate their pick ranking so everyone will have a chance to get preferred weeks such as holiday weeks and long weekends.

Are pets allowed?

Eagle’s Nest is the only pet friendly cabin while Bear’s Den and Moose Lodge are not to accommodate those who may be allergic to animals, etc.

the property?

The owners do. They elect a Board of Directors at the annual meeting and they take direction from the owners.
